Deezar Raval Physiotherapy is committed to providing exercise-based physical therapy services in both French and in English in a spacious and well-equipped exercise facility they share with Northstar Fitness located at 55 Speers Road. Our treatment strategies incorporate movement, strengthening and cardiovascular training in combination with pain relieving techniques such as hands on manual therapy and acupuncture. We are committed to building a therapeutic relationship with our patients that includes one-on-one patient education, instruction and implementation of rehabilitation programs as well as self-management strategies.

OUR SPACE

Deezar Raval Physiotherapy shares it’s 7,000 sq ft space with Northstar Fitness. We have private rooms for assessments and follow up treatments. There is access to change rooms, showers and plenty of free parking.

OUR TEAM
JOSÉE DEEZAR

Josée is a licensed physiotherapist providing services in both French and English. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the Université de Saint-Boniface and later completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Manitoba.

Josée is committed to lifelong learning and continually expands her clinical skills through post-graduate education and mentorship. She has trained in strength and conditioning since 2012 at CrossFit Winnipeg/North Star Fitness, where she continues to strength train regularly. This background in fitness and resistance training influences her treatment approach, which blends manual therapy, acupuncture, and exercise-based rehabilitation to help patients move better, recover from injury, and reach their goals.

In 2021, Josée completed her certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation, allowing her to assess and treat patients with dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders. She has a special interest in working with individuals experiencing persistent postural-perceptual dizziness (PPPD), concussion-related dizziness, functional movement disorders, cervical dystonia, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).

Since 2022, Josée has also been part of the Hands Physiotherapy team at the Health Sciences Centre, where she provides specialized rehabilitation for patients recovering from hand and upper extremity injuries.

QUENTIN RAVAL

Quentin has competed in high level sports and continues to play a wide variety of them, including volleyball, basketball, hockey, soccer, racquet sports and golf. This gives him great insight into how athletes move and what is required to achieve optimal performance in sports and activities. Quentin also spent four seasons as the assistant coach for the Université de Saint-Boniface men’s volleyball team and has also coached multiple basketball and badminton teams.

Quentin takes pride in his hard-working nature, and his excellent interpersonal and communication skills. He is always striving to advance his knowledge of exercises and manual therapy to offer the best care possible. He is dedicated to his patients and will provide all his efforts in helping them reach their personal goals.

DAN SAGUINSIN

Dan enjoys being physically active as he participates in a variety of activities including dance, weight training, volleyball, basketball, ultimate frisbee and running. This background in movement allows him to understand what is necessary for optimal performance.

Dan takes pride in his ability to create a strong therapeutic relationship with his patients. He has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, working with people at all walks of life.

Dan will always be a student at heart as he understands the importance of continued education after graduation. Dan has a particular interest in working with lower extremity injuries and will use a combination of manual therapy, exercise and education for management and treatment.

RACHAEL DUPUIS

Rachael is a registered massage therapist that has been practicing since June 2015 and is registered with the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba. In addition to being fluent in French and English, Rachael takes pride in her dedication to the treatment and improvement of soft tissue and joints of the body.
Each year, Rachael pursues continuing education to improve her knowledge in a variety of therapeutic massage techniques.
She makes time for assessment and tailors each treatment based on the client’s specific needs and preferences. Rachael has training and experience in :

MARNIE THOMAS

Marnie has been a massage therapist for 20 year and has an extensive knowledge of a variety of techniques. She enjoys helping each client meet their goals, whether increasing relaxation, decreasing pain, improving range of motion, or helping recover from injuries.
